best product from rainforest range

I have fair skin and natural straight hair damaged by hair color.It works for me, it gives shine and body. I tried all from rainforest range and the Moisturing made my hair brittle and dry and tangled while the Volume one was a litlle more manageable but no way closer to the Shine one.

Best Shampoo

Having used this shampoo its amazing, alot of shampoos have lots of chemicals in them this doesnt and doesnt make my itch like alot of shampoos do, it doesnt lather up alot but does make my hair feel very clean and soft afterwards, definately a recommended product in my opinion

not really good for dry hair. Cleans hair products well but not possible to use without conditioner.

Good substitute to expensive organic shampoo

I usually use organic only shampoo but due to cost have had to make changes. This shampoo does not strip my hair lathers well and you don't need to use much . Hair feels manageable after use and although I didn't see more ' shine' I would use it again .

This is an unusual shampoo as it does not lather and is more runny than a regular shampoo. It does the job and does not irritate my scalp as many do, I would prefer it if it was heavier as my hair is thick but I am careful to apply the shampoo well into the hair. I would recommend it with caution as it does clean but is a bit tricky to use as it is thinner than othe shampoos.

About this shampoo not 'lathering' very well I would just like to say it does
Lather , it states in the description to mix it with water in your hands and then massage into the hair. The reason why it is not as foamy as other shampoos is because it doesn't contain sulphates which is the agent that makes shampoos foam. This is as natural as shampoo gets , it leaves the hair incredibly clean with a beautiful shine and a gorgeous fresh smell that lingers on the hair throughout the day . What more could one want?

Bought this along with moisturiser in small size to try out due to needing a change & won over. I have long dark curly hair & it was going bit frizzy but this does the job & dont need to condition every wash now. Love the smell too, recommend to all

It really works!

Typical shampoo won't do the job well, my hair still feels dry, coarse and frizzy after washing. But the rainforest shampoo does the job really well! With the shampoo and conditioner my hair feels smooth yet volumised but light! It's like the perfect combination, and the smell is just gorgeous! I think I'll stick to them from now on :)

Just what I've been looking for

I have healthy hair but a sensitive scalp and every shampoo seems to give me a flaky scalp... but not this one! I also love the fragrance and you just can't beat the price when it comes to sulphate-free shampoos. I've tried other shampoos of this type but they seemed to leave my hair feeling a bit greasy after a while, but again, this shampoo works well in that respect and I'm now halfway down my 2nd bottle of this product. My advice: use a moisturising conditioner afterwards for a 10/10 result.

A good intro to SLS free shampoo

This shampoo is inexpensive and smells nice. I bought it as I specifically wanted an SLS free shampoo. Not sure the PH is completely right as hair does tangle a bit when using it but blow dries nicely afterwards.

I purchased a travel size to test it and did not use much but that was enough to make my hair a lot more drier than it usually is after shampooing, as a result it was very tangled and made it difficult to apply the conditioner. Will not buy again.

Fantastic Glossy Shampoo I couldn't live without!

I absolutley love this product! When they stopped making Oil Shampoo I went away from Body Shop & now they have this great product. My hair is long, blonde and is in good condition but gets a little dry at the ends from straightner use. This shampoo leaves a glossy finish & smells amazing!

Never been so soft!

My hair has never been so soft as when using this along with the conditioner.
If you're used to using tons of product, this probably won't get it out, but if you want to switch to treating your hair gently and are prepared to find products with less silicones etc., then it's wonderful. Once a week or so I use another shampoo to clear anything like serum or oil that I've used on my hair, but the rest of the week I use this range and my hair is soft and sweet-smelling.
The scents are subtle and more natural than the synthetic stuff in mainstream ranges, in fact I can hardly bear the chemical whiff off most of them now.
Amazing price, I would expect it to be much, much more but if you have a Love Your Body card and are savvy with your discount sites/vouchers, you can really make this an excellent option even on a budget (full time student here!)
Can't recommend enough. I have long fine hair, loads of it, which tends to frizz - used to load it up with stuff, but now this and a light curl creme are all I need, with maybe some mousse when I'm going out and want more curl.
Go the no sulphates! Best for curly girls!

VERY GOOD THOUGH THERE IS A 'BUT'

I have been using this shampoo for quite a while and yes, I am pleased with the results. However I do wish we could still purchase the shampoos and conditioners that were available some time back.
I cannot now recall the original Body Shop shampoo I used to buy quite a few years ago but sadly this one was discontinued and I then went on to one based on olives with a picture of olives featured on the bottle. Why did these really superb shampoos cease. Did they contain an ingredient that is no longer considered desirable.

I love this shampoo - used together with the conditioner it gives me really shiny and healthy looking hair. I also love that it is paraben and nasties free. I'm really chuffed to have discovered it.

If you have never used a sulphate free shampoo before and you try to use this like a sulphate shampoo you are going to be disappointed - there is a technique to follow. Get your hair wet put a little on your hand and mix with a little water. Then apply at the back, repeat process on the sides and then at the front. You only need a small amount done this way and it results in more foam then you get with a sulphate shampoo and a really excellent result.
I really like this one and it is definitely worth trying. Just be prepared to mix and match with the conditioner as you may need to experiment to find the one that works for your hair.

Not a bad shampoo but...

I have curly hair and was looking for a gentle SLS-free shampoo. This was quite good and didn't strip my hair but I really couldn't stand the smell. Such a strong, synthetic fragrance. I thought the scent would be a lot more delicate given the natural image of this line. Wouldn't repurchase based on fragrance alone, sorry.

Best Hair of my Life

I originally brought the Rainforest Balance shampoo and conditioner and found that it made my hair more oily, so I went back to the shop and brought Rainforest Shine and I love it. It works so well on my hair and makes it so soft and shiny. The smell is amazing and I love the way that lingers on your hair hours after washing. I would recomend this to anyone with normal or slightly dry hair as it works wonders.

Soft, Shiny Hair.

I was given a free sample of this in store, and i liked it so much I went back and brought myself a bottle the next day. It smells lovely and leaves my hair soft, shiny and silky. I can honestly say I've never found a product like it before!
